#Amquerying Author and the Hunt for the One Yes: Chapter 3

(If you haven't read chapter1, check it out HERE
Chapter 2: check it out HERE)

I'm still on the partial ladder.

The peanut butter cups are long gone. I've been living off of morning dew and random flies that land on my sweaty skin.

   Ewww.

Yesterday the coolest thing happened. A horde of other #amquerying authors stormed the space around the agent's golden city for what they call . . . a pitch party. We had bon fires, smores, loud music, and dancing that shook the walls of the city in hopes to get the agents attention.

A couple trolls ventured out from the forest, but we ignored them.

Some of the authors had ladders with them, others had never approached the agent's city before. Together we raised such a racket that the golden walls trembled and shook.

Could the agents even see me in the crowd? Did it make a difference?

Every now and then an agent would pop their head over the wall and throw a partial ladder at someone. But, for the most part, all was quiet in the city. Even so, it was worth it. There's something special about hanging out with other sweaty, starved, and crazed authors that came to explore Planet Publishing.

At the end of the day, the authors dispersed to their far corners of the wall and the party ended. We plan to congregate in a month or so to try and get the agents attention again.

I have a feeling it will be mad.
